Wuyi University held the 2018 Opening ceremony of the international students on September 18th. The whole teaching staff and faculty with all international students attended the event. Lu Mingtian, the dean of the Overseas Education College, gave a speech at the assembly.

The Dean Lu, representing Wuyi University, gave a warm welcome to more than 70 new studentsform 23 countries, including but not only France,Russia,Kazakhstan ,Mongolia and Indonesia.

On the speech, the dean introduced the culture,the advantages and teaching resources of Wuyi University to the international students.He hopes the new students can achieve the following three goals:

First, the students should adapt themselves to Chinese life and overcome the culture shock as soon as possible to become a real part of the big school family.

Second, the students can make good friends with classmates from different countries, attach great importance to learning and make progress day by day;

The last but not the least, hope the students from various culture can always obey the Chinese law and school’s rules. The students should respect each others culture and be the culture ambassador of their own country.
